Canadian Press to go private after 93 years

CTVglobemedia, the Toronto Star and the owners of La Presse will take over by terms of a tentative deal. The Canadian Press has struck the deal to restructure its operations, ending its 93-year history as a not-for-profit industry co-operative and proposing to move forward under private ownership
