I love Apple so much and hope to be back as soon as I can," Jobs wrote Monday. Apple shares dropped 6 percent in trading in Frankfurt following the announcement. Jobs' health has come into question before, creating large fluctuations in Apple shares. Cook has already managed the company on a day-to-day basis in Jobs' absence previously.
