Harper Tories embrace magazine funding

NatPost has a story on the Tories' magazine funding:

"The optics of the federal government giving grants to large publishing companies, very well-known brands, aren't terribly great," says Doug Bennet, publisher of Masthead, a magazine trade journal. "I think the publishers are quite aware of this, and I think the government's aware of it, too. That could be why Mr. Moore only plays up grants to smaller publishers."
