Nearly six months after a devastating fire forced CTV Ottawa out of its longtime home on Merivale Road, the Ontario Fire Marshal's office has released the cause of the blaze: undetermined. Mike Potvin, a fire investigation supervisor for the provincial agency, said the damage caused by the Feb. 7 fire was so severe investigators were unable to determine a point of origin or a cause. The fire, which gutted the site's studio at 1500 Merivale Rd., caused $2.5 million in damages.
