Teenagers are posting more information on social media than ever before, plastering the Internet with their personal photographs, hometowns, schools, email addresses and cellphone numbers, according to a U.S. study by the Pew Research Center.
Twenty per cent of teens told researchers they posted their cellphone number online, compared to just 2 per cent who did in 2006. More than 90 per cent have posted a photo of themselves, up from 79 per cent six years ago.
